Meet Dr. Allie Johnson, she is a North Texas native who grew up in Richardson, Texas. She has over a decade of experience as a physical therapist and loves that she can serve the community she grew up in.
Allie is passionate about an integrative approach to healthcare, holistic living, and serving infants and children of all ages and ability levels.
A college athlete who participated in her fair share of physical therapy, she was drawn to this profession early on because of how it served her in high school. She developed a passion for serving children as she spent much of high school, college, and graduate school volunteering with children in the states and abroad.
Being a pediatric physical therapist is truly Allie’s dream job. She loves the kids she sees and the difference physical therapy can make. That said, no title is more dear to her than that of being a mom to her two boys and wife to her husband, Kyle. Becoming a mom only increased Allie’s passion for helping new parents act early when they see delays in milestones or something “just doesn’t seem right”. Being a mom also spurred her on to learn all she could about tethered oral tissues as she treated her own kids.
Allie has a degree in Sports Medicine from John Brown University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT’s Medical Branch In Galveston.
Outside of work you’ll often find her with a matcha latte or green juice in hand adventuring around the city with her boys.
